Here’s what one of our Roster Artists is up to in the near future…
Red Yarn Productions, a new company created by Portland musician, educator, puppeteer and storyteller Andy Furgeson (AKA Red Yarn), is excited to annouce nine free shows at Multnomah County Libraries in March and April of 2012. “Hep Cats & Hound Dogs,” Red Yarn’s second musical puppet show through the libraries, follows the relationship of a rockabilly cat and a country hound dog through classic American folk and rock’n'roll songs. Can a cat and a dog be friends? Join Red Yarn, aka Andy Furgeson, and his hilarious animal friends Hep Cat Eddie and Jim the Hound Dog in this lively musical puppet show. Mixing classic rockabilly and country songs with puppetry, storytelling and interactive performance, this show is sure to be fun for the whole family!
All performances are free. First come first served. Generally, tickets are available 30 minutes before showtime.
